Have to accept that the posting relating to Eminem aka Marshall Bruce Mathers III got my eye as I have not called before. As his father abandoned his family when he was an infant the media age has been opportunity for money and media coverage which he has taken well, heading off the ruination with way too much reporting and exposure gone through by different celebrities. Lately I've become his number uno watcher and can never get too much information or comments about his activities. Enjoyed his albums Encore, although the messages sometimes are oppressive. Dark overtones and not working for a cheerful planet.

John. You're a genius. How did you know it would happen that way?

I have a request: Please predict the winning numbers in the next Powerball drawing and send them to me privately. You're are truly clairvoyant. :-)

It truly is an admirable thing that Gayle Joseph has done for Nick McDonald. We are thankful that she was there for him. However, the article you linked that appeared in the Grand Rapids Press was peppered with inaccuracies and left many details out that would have further explained more of the circumstances surrounding Nick's situation. My reason for commenting here is simply to remind everyone that there are two, sometimes three and possibly even more sides to every story.

Thanks for posting this article. I'm definitely frustrated with struggling to search out relevant and brilliant commentary on this subject. Everybody now goes to the very far extremes to either drive home their viewpoint that either: everyone else in the planet is wrong, or two that everyone but them does not really understand the situation. Many thanks for your succinct, applicable insight.

term limits - puke! they are a disaster! I would advocate getting rid of them altogether. But for those who want to keep them, then an extension is desperately needed. I like the 14 year plan -- not so much because of the number, but because it allows more time to be served in one position and not a constant turn over in each chamber, or the pressure to be looking for your next position.

I would like to see some group take the lead to put this on the ballot. It's not just enough to talk about changing it, we need someone to step up and lead the change.

Bring it! There is something calming about fresh fallen snow. And when society freaks out and shuts down, it's a nice break to the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We should enjoy the snow. I'm not a huge fan of cold weather, but I do think snowflakes are amazing.

I'm just glad I'm not a weatherperson!
