Now on the tee - Tiger Woods - Winner of lots of golf tournaments and loser of respect
I’ve never liked Tiger as a person. Never trusted him. Now he’s coming back beginning with the Masters tournament in a few weeks, something he wanted. I’ve been 100 percent correct with my predictions about him since that Thanksgiving night when his world came crashing down. Let’s see how I do going forward.
In my mind, I don’t think that he has changed. He is still an arrogant, selfish punk that will mistreat people down the road. This might take some time to show through, but I believe it likely will. His caddie is an extension of him and will show the same arrogance by thrusting his weight around when someone sneezes or coughs on the golf course. In my mind, it doesn’t seem like Tiger has learned his lesson at all, which is, “he is human and lives by the standards we all live by.” Tiger will still expect special treatment. Eventually this could cause him to lose his wife and regular contact with his kids.
Overall, this is so sad to witness because there is no title greater in life - for a man - than to be called daddy and for that title to carry the love and trust that it should. Trust me, I know as a father. Also, if you don’t want to listen to me ask Jack Nicklaus what is more important to him, his titles or the love of his family.
I don’t plan to watch the Masters unless Tiger has been eliminated by the weekend. Tiger has way too much to prove to me and it isn’t on the golf course.
Welcome back winner of lots of golf tournaments. How lonely it must feel…
I hope I am wrong this time with Tiger as I hate to see a man throw away the greatest title of all.
