		<description>This is an interesting case study.  The Packers organization can't really win.  If they take him back, they're potentially setting themselves back by not nurturing young talent.  If they let him go, he could possibly hurt them, especially if he signs for an NFC team.  

But somehow they're coming out of this (so far) relatively unscathed.  That is most likely due to Favre doing a great job of positioning himself as selfish and less than truthful.  

Personally, I think he should be true to his tearful word and hang it up.  His career was stellar.  It's now approaching a potentially sad end with this mudslinging.  And what if he comes back and stinks?  Then his precious legacy is soiled further.</description>
